First let me say that we LOVE Beckett's school. He goes to a really small preschool with only seven kids including my friend Susan's twins. When Beckett first started a few months ago he was the only boy but now there are three boys. The teacher is amazing. She has so many cool activities. She really gets toddlers and all the kids seem so happy AND they are learning. Beckett is talking so much more since has gone there. And there lies the rub...
I am not saying he learned all this at school but here a few things he has been saying:
1) "I am sixteen. I have my driver's license." (He also told me that he got his license from Grandpa Oscar!)
2) After I asked him to do something: "Just a minute."
3) Told it was time to go to bed: "Give me ten minutes."
4) After being told what we were having for dinner: "Hmmm. How about peanut butter and jelly."
5) Oh yeah and he's been calling us Mom and Dad instead of Mommy and Daddy. (Apprently his cousin Milly has gone one step further and is calling her parents by their first names.)
Alden is growing too. I think he's about 10 lbs. now and he's staying awake for longer periods and even smiling a bit. He's really got a mellow and laid back personality so far.
