Beckett: Mom, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Me: An olympic swimmer.
Beckett: No, it's too late for that. You can be a digger.
(Nice, huh?)

Mechanics and Public Safety for Toddlers
On the way to school this morning:
Beckett: My other city bus is broken. I need to fix it.
Me:Oh... What do you need?
Beckett: I forgot.
Me: Maybe a wrench?
Beckett: Yeah and a big saw!
Me: Do you have two busses?
Beckett: Yeah, but Tolee took it.
Me: Did he go for a joyride? That's when you take a car that's not yours and go for a ride in it.
Beckett: If you steal a car your parents will be really mad at you. You might get a time out.
